Lucan Garda Station
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our colleague Garda Tony Golden.
A Fallen Hero
God bless our fallen hero,
Sad news it was to hear,
For he has laid his life for us,
So we don’t live in fear,
Dedicated to his job,
He gave his heart and soul,
His duty to protect and serve,
It was his only goal,
He did not hesitate response,
Upon that faithful day,
His precious life he sacrificed,
The ultimate to pay,
With no time to say goodbye,
A family now they mourn,
In God’s hands now he gently rests,
A new angel is born.
