Would you like an ice cream?
I heard the ice cream seller call,
I stopped beside the little shop
That framed the vendor’s stall.
You can have the raspberry ripple,
A vanilla or a ninety nine
And our banana flavoured cones
Are really rather fine.
We have chocolate covered lollies,
A wafer, a tub or chilly willy,
Sometimes we can’t remember,
My assistant can be silly.
And if you have no money
You can have some for free,
Said the vendor, just four years old,
Her assistant only three.
