Sun reflecting off the white washed walls
Into an area of tranquillity
Stillness intermittently disturbed
By the drone of a single engine plane
Or the squawking of a magpie
In an overlooking fir tree
Or the chirp, chirping of the many visiting birds
Pecking at the newly mown grass
Hoping for a tasty titbit
Me an onlooker
Breakfasting on sliced banana, buttered bread and freshly brewed tea
Where?
The back garden of my Hillcrest home
On Tuesday morning last.
